about us...
"Panim Lakehila" Association was founded About 15 years ago by three friends who complied with their hearts' order to stand up and assist those in need in Beit Shemesh.
Its main activity is a soup-kitchen, which provides those families and families at the surrounding area, free and tasty food every weekend.
The association is a 'non-profit institution' that is managed and maintained solely by volunteers of various ages and has a section 46 tax refund.
Today, the association supports 30 families, regardless of their religious views or origins. quite often, the association will also help in supplying baby products, celebrating special events, providing clothing and more.

Distribution of purchase vouchers for the holidays
If the economic situation allows us, we distribute food coupons to families for the holidays. These coupons are a tremendous help to those families and allows them to celebrate the holiday with joy and respect.
Dry and cooked food collection
The soup kitchen receives donations of cooked and dry food from good-hearted people who want to help. The food will be distributed, in addition to food prepared in the soup kitchen, to needy families.
Food distribution
The soup kitchen has a small, modest kitchen where we prepare kosher, fresh and tasty food for Shabbat. The cooked food, in addition to salads and dry products, are packed in different size trays and distribute to needy families throughout Beit Shemesh
